Terms of Service

This document is available in Indonesian and English. In case of any discrepancy, the Indonesian version prevails.

1. Identity & Acceptance

Numu is a service operated by a company registered in Indonesia. The legal entity’s details are available on request via our official contact.

By creating an account or using Numu, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The Service

Numu provides a dashboard to help Indonesian MSMEs understand their net profit from marketplace transactions. How it works: you forward marketplace notification emails to your Numu address, and our system reads them using artificial intelligence (AI) to extract transaction data and compute a profit summary.

The service is provided “as-is.” AI-based extraction does not guarantee accuracy: incomplete emails, new formats, or unusual cases may produce incorrect data. Emails with low confidence are placed in a “Needs Review” queue for you to confirm manually. You remain responsible for verifying figures before relying on them.

3. Eligibility & Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • One account per user or business. You must provide accurate information when registering.

4. Service Tiers

Numu offers a Free tier (with limits) and a Pro tier (paid). The features and limits of each tier are listed on the pricing page and may change as described in Section 12.

5. Payment

During the beta period, upgrades to Pro are arranged directly with the Numu team (for example, via WhatsApp); there is no automated billing yet. Payment terms:

  • Cancellation is available at any time and takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  • No refunds are given for periods already elapsed.
  • The applicable price is the one shown on the pricing page at the time of the transaction.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to only forward emails you are entitled to forward, and you will not:

  • forward emails or data belonging to others without the right or a lawful basis;
  • misuse, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the service;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access parts of the system not intended for you;
  • resell or rent the service without our written consent.

7. Data, Privacy & User Responsibility

The handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

The emails you forward may contain your buyers’ personal data (names, addresses, order details). Accordingly, you represent and warrant that:

  • you are entitled to forward those emails and have a lawful basis to process the data within them;
  • you act as the data controller for that buyer data, and Numu processes it on your behalf as a processor, solely to provide the service;
  • you will indemnify and hold harmless Numu against any third-party claims, losses, or demands arising from your lack of a right or lawful basis.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, the “Numu” brand, logo, design, and service materials are owned by the operator of Numu or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service under these Terms. Your data remains yours.

Numu is an independent tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Tokopedia, Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada, Blibli, Bukalapak, or any other marketplace. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach of these Terms or unlawful use. You may stop using the service or close your account at any time. After termination, data handling follows the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI-extracted data may contain errors; you are responsible for verifying it before making decisions.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Numu is not liable for:

  • business decisions you make based on dashboard data;
  • data inaccuracies caused by incomplete emails or unrecognised formats;
  • service disruptions or loss beyond our reasonable control.

Numu’s total enforceable liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to Numu in the three (3) months preceding the claim; for Free-tier users, that limit is zero.

12. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may change features, pricing, or these Terms. For material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email or in-app notice. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the change.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute shall first be resolved amicably; if that fails, it shall be resolved through the competent District Court (Pengadilan Negeri) at the operator’s domicile.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect (severability). These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Numu. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. This document is provided in Indonesian and English; in case of any discrepancy, the Indonesian version prevails (per Law No. 24 of 2009).
